About Us

The Attention and Memory Centers in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC, are multi-disciplinary treatment clinics specializing in the assessment and treatment of mild cognitive disorders across the lifespan. They were developed as a response to the demand within our communities for treatment in our areas of specialties. Backed by more than 25 years of providing service within the community through our parent clinic, North Carolina Neuropsychiatry in Chapel Hill, the Attention and Memory Centers have a history of successfully caring for patient with a variety of neuropsychiatric needs.

The cornerstones of our clinics include top quality care and ongoing research to improve diagnosis and treatment. Our treatment programs revolve around a core of research-based clinical work, excellence in training, and a commitment to improving the health and welfare of our patients. Our team draws from expertise in multiple disciplines, including neurology, psychiatry, psychology, and neuropsychology to obtain the most comprehensive understanding of our patients’ difficulties and how best to treat them. In addition, we maintain affiliations with a wide variety of well respected practitioners in the community, to ensure that our patients have access to any and all necessary treatment.

The Attention and Memory Centers were developed as a result of the direct need within our communities for treatment in our specific areas of specialty. With increasing research and funding devoted to studying mild cognitive impairments in children and adults for a variety of complaints (e.g., ADHD, late life memory problems, traumatic brain injuries) we expect to be on the leading edge of treatment for these types of conditions.
